The saddest thing about smoking is that smoking can still kill you many years after you quit. Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock in Star Trek, died of a progressive lung disease caused by smoking, despite the fact that he gave smoking up 30 years before it finally killed him.
You're better off never smoking.
