may have heard that you should avoid avocado because of its high fat content. It is true, avocados contain high fat. But high fats on avocados are monounsaturated fats or 'good fats', which will help maintain heart health, and help to lower blood pressure. Monounsaturated fats found in avocado can also help to reverse insulin resistance that can lead to type 2 diabetes.
