In 2001, me and my husband decided to lose a bit of weight, consequently, we thought that diet drinks were the way forward, so I started using a sugar substitute and my husband consumed about 2 litres of diet soda a day. Gradually we started feeling all sorts of side effects: depression, tiredness, weight gain!! But then disaster struck! My husband (who was an air traffic controller) had a psychotic episode that put him in hospital. It was the start of our journey of realising that the artificial sweetener Aspartame was toxic to the human body. We stopped using it and felt much better. Then we started telling others about the dangers, backed by a whole community of people who had suffered, many had lost loved ones due to it causing cancer.

I wrote a comic about it (more fun and easier to digest - 'scuse the pun) you'll be shocked to read how it was approved and what it causes, even mimicking serious diseases such as Parkinsons and Diabetes. Governments and food agencies don't want people to know about the dangers, and a woman in America (Diane Fleming) is in prison for 50 years; they say she killed her husband, but the doctors say he was killed by consuming drinks containing Aspartame (E951). I'll post more comics soon. I look forward to your comments.
