I am medical student so i come up with an idea of sharing with you my knowledge about hypertension, I want to tell you today what is hypertension, why it is dangerous to our body and how to lower it.
Hypertension is increased blood pressure :
140-159/90-99 mm Hg it's called hypertension level 1 while optimal is 120/80 mm Hg.
Hypertension is really common problem, it's often ignored but did you know that is our ''silent killer''? Scientist calculate that 40% of people (above 25 yo) on planet suffer from hypertension and it has serious consequences for example brain stroke in 51% is caused by hypertension also people with increased blood pressure live much less than this one with lower blood pressure.
So what are risk factors of hypertension?
-CIGARETTE SMOKING
-obesity
-sedentary lifestyle
-too much salt in diet
-drinking lot of alkohol
-chronic stress
How to lower it? try to remove as much risk factors as you can your.
-You don't have to be an athlete but start going for walk more, use bike or walk than use car.
-Lower your salt and sugar intake.
-Cigarettes are bad for each body system (respiratory, circulatory) and if you stop smoking you are gonna avoid many danger such as lung cancer.
-Sometimes getting rid of stress is hard but you can try to stop for an moment to drink some tea and try to calm down.
-Eat more food with potassium for example banana because its really healthy for our heart.
-Eat dark dark chocolate as it is good for our veins by making them flexible and avoid veins cramps.
-Try to get rid of some kilograms if you weight to much.
I can write about it really lot but just wanted to make this post as clear as possible and point at most important things.
