What is arthritis?
Arthritis is inflammation in the joints. It causes stiffness and pain. Arthritis can also get worst with age.
What are the symptoms of arthritis?
One can suffer pain in the joint areas, the neck, ankle, fingers, back, muscles, hands, and wrists. The symptoms include swelling, tenderness, weakness, fatigue, difficulty with walking, malaise, a bump or outgrowth of bones on hands or feet or stiff neck. If you suffer the symptoms, visit your doctor.
What are possible causes of arthritis?
Arthritis occurs when the body's immune system attacks the tissue of your body. An injury or an infection to the joints may cause it. It could also be developed due to a family history of arthritis.
What are the treatments?
Often people who suffer with arthritis go for physiotherapy. Medication helps as well. Sometimes surgery may be necessary.

osteoarthritis),
(ii). Metabolic abnormalities (such as gout and pseudogout ), (iii). Hereditary factors, the direct and indirect effect of infections (bacterial and viral).
