Very compact and good introduction to intermittent fasting, @guyfawkes4-20 It's great to see more people becoming aware of it. It's like becoming closer to our roots when we understand properly our body functions and live by taking them into account.
I've been eating very much like in intermittent fasting by not eating breakfast and having about 8-9 hour eating window. Like you said: in the beginning a new eating pattern might be unpleasant but that's only because your body has adapted a certain rhythm for eating, secreting a hormone called Ghrelin, "hunger hormone", around your regular eating times. But when adopting new eating pattern, your body also picks up the new rhythm and starts producing Ghreling according to it at the new meal times.
Thank you, I was thrilled to get so much interaction going on this post, I'm happy that people know about this.
I think that works well in any field of our lives. Breaking up the old patterns so we can create new and better ones to improve the quality of our lives and those around us. :)
