It seems that the nutritional recommendations of physicians for the prevention of diseases, especially cardiovascular ones, are wrong. "Do not eat eggs and red meat ... but cereal (whole grains) and sugar (cane)!" These warnings seem to have produced more harm than good and contributed, paradoxically, to the onset of heart disease and deaths due to heart attack and stroke. Just to confirm this, on the morning of November 13, 2017, John Warner, 52, # cardiologist and president of the American Heart Association (#AHA), had a heart attack. It is the day after the one in which, with a masterly speech, he told the cardiologists' assembly gathered from more than 100 countries at the Heart Association Scientific Sessions 2017 that the Cardiology has achieved considerable progress but that there is still much to be done. Holy words ... If nobody seems to worry about the fact that the #president of #cardiologists suffers from a heart attack, it seems to me instead that this proves that all that is suggested by these specialists goes exactly against what they propose to obtain and the consequences, dramatic, for those who follow them are almost certain, which are heart attacks, strokes, vascular dementias and much more. Drugs, the only tool that miraculously address, do not serve in the fight against heart disease. You need a healthy diet (which is not identified in the Mediterranean diet) and the common sense of those who recommend it. For this reason, I have always urged you to find the way of truth by yourself. Who did not follow these crazy advice were instead Mrs Emma Morano, an Italian supercentenary who died at the age of 117, when she reached the rank of oldest living person in Europe and the second oldest living person in the world. He declared that he has never used drugs, to eat three eggs a day, to drink a glass of homemade brandy, to eat sometimes chocolate and, last but not least, he always used to think positively about the future. Seeing her (interview with RAI in 2013) and knowing that she was still living alone until it passed, you would say that eggs and red meat are not so harmful choices ... and also to avoid drugs ... the real culprits of the disease is neither cholesterol nor red meat. The others are the real enemies: the cardiologist tips? Can it well be
Watch What the Health for a different view where red meat and dairy are the problem.
I wrote a book, and probably read about this topic everything it has been written, even the studies that say what you say. My book ha 365 Scientific References and all i write has always Scientific fundament, honest and without any personal interests. The problem are Carbohydrates, not the red meat (i didn't cite diary at all) or the eggs. Cardiologists say what you say and they die. Go ahead and follow them. We'll see who's right
I definitely will. I went vegan for past 3 weeks and already notice a big difference. We sleep better. Have more energy and losing weight. I am mainly doing this because I suffer from an inflammatory disease, messenteric panniculitus, which doctors have no cure for except steroids and because animal products cause inflammation within an hour of ingestion I don't need more inflammation but less. So I respectfully disagree.
I treat chronical inflammation since 25 years. All my patients are fine and no one is still sufferent. Even the ones with problems like yours. Veganism is philosofy, not Physiology. The doctors you've been talking to do not even know what chronic inflammation is. I send you my best wishes for a healthy life. Good luck
