How can we return to a state of vibrant health? Drink a lot of pure water daily to assist your body in eliminating all the toxins. Avoid taking drugs unnecessarily, but if you must, for whatever reason, take the time to educate yourself on alternative remedies for that specific condition. And whilst taking your prescribed medication there are various things you can do to assist your body to heal and rebuild its immune system more rapidly.

In my opinion clean, natural food is the best medicine!

INFLAMMATION


Coconut oil appears to suppress some of the chemicals that mediate inflammation. Take a teaspoonful every morning and every night. Massage the oil directly into the affected area, if possible. Make this part of your daily routine.

For some conditions, coconut oil is the perfect remedy all by itself.
If you find that your inflammation and pain does not improve by using coconut oil alone, you can combine it with one or more of the following ingredients:

• Blackstrap molasses
• Apple cider vinegar
• Turmeric
• Mix the coconut oil with molasses or apple cider vinegar in a 1:1 ratio.

• Turmeric can also be taken in capsules or as a powder. The choice is yours.
• Take 8 capsules per day, 2x/day (that is 4 capsules @ 400mg, 2x/day).
• Alternatively, 1 tsp. of turmeric powder per day.
Either is taken together with the coconut
oil.

Turmeric Smoothie:


• 1 cup fresh or frozen mango (if not available use peach, apricot or nectarine)
• 1/2 banana (if not available use peach, nectarine or apricot)
• 1.5 cups (375 ml) almond milk (or coconut milk or coconut water)
• 1 tsp. coconut oil
• 1 tsp. white chia seeds
• 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder or 1 tsp. of fresh, finely grated
• 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
• Add all the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth
• ENJOY
