The importance of exercise has the ability to bring about profound changes toward our perspective on life, often a transformation of physical, mental well-being and improving the quality of life.

Cardiorespiratory endurance is essential as it produces a smorgasbord of health and wellness benefits from strengthening of the heart and lungs capable of delivering fresh oxygen to the muscles which is crucial to the development of stronger and healthier bones.

Improving physical health is essential for controlling body weight, increasing metabolism as well as fighting off certain kinds of diseases.

Regular exercise can drastically improve brain function by creating a more relaxed state of mind and eliminate unwanted and unnecessary stress. In order to achieve mental well-being one must first achieve physical well-being to face life’s challenges unaltered.

Increased blood flow to the brain creates a secretion of hormones that promote the growth of brain cells, elevates mood and boosts concentration levels. Endorphins are chemical substances released by the brain that allow us to feel good whilst exercising and allow us to focus on the important tasks at hand.

The best way to overcome mental obstacles such as fear, depression and anxiety is by becoming active and getting your blood pumping.

One of the most over looked perks of exercise has to do with the effect it has on our quality of social interaction, by actively engaging in the community through meeting new people and opening ourselves up to new experiences which otherwise we could have remained closed off to.

Exercising is a method for rebuilding self-esteem, self-confidence, building character and learning how to work with other people, as well as on a team. This can result in and increased sense of belonging to a community and drastically improve social relations.

Whatever your reason to exercise maintaining a certain body image, boosting the immune system, elevating concentration or just to lift your spirits in general and enhance the quality of social relations – GO OUT THERE, GET ACTIVE AND FEEL GOOD!!!

Life is short, remember. Stay Active and live a healthy lifestyle, make the most of the time that you have while you have it as you never know what is awaiting around the corner.
