Hi all,
I promised to share some healthy recipes in the near future. This recipe is great for breakfast, lunch or just for in between! :-) Full of protein and of course some (complex) carbohydrates to stay energetic for the coming hours at least. Optional is to add some coconut rasp for adding flavour and add some fat to the recipe.
Now.. this looks delightfull doesn't it? Let me tell you how te make it, step by step. If you succeeded making this, please share your results! First of all, here is a list with Ingredients:
7 oz of flour
9 oz of soft curd cheese
1 cup of whey
1 egg
1 oz of raisins
1 apple
1 tsp. baking powder
1-2 tbsp. cinnamon
0,5 cup milk
Preheat the oven to 400 F.
Mix the flour with the whey, raisins, baking powder and cinnamon in a bowl.
Cut half the apple into small cubes. Cut the other half into slices for decoration.
Add the soft curd cheese, milk, egg and small pieces of apple to the mix and mix it thoroughly. You will get a thick batter.
Oil up your baking tray and divide the batter. Push the slices of apple into the batter for decoration.
Now you put it in the oven for about 20-30 minutes.
Lets eat, shall we? :-D
Divide your cake in 10 big slices, se below for nutritional values for each slice:
104 kcal
0,5 oz carbohydrates
0,035 ounces fat
0,28 ounces protein
Enjoy!
