A few years ago especially from the recent months I was faced with this body changes that accompanied back pain. At first my body became weaker and weaker with stiffness all over and then my stature shortened a bit then I had an awful "side pain" which made me bedridden for many days although I still managed to walk to the bathroom.
Then my face changed dramatically along with it in an exponential manner that and actually all of that caught me by surprise. One day I saw myself in the mirror and I saw my appearance, way different than what was once I am familiar with. My image of myself from the past years is now only in my memory.
Leontiasis transformed me from a beautiful butterfly into an ugly grub, I went thinking about how I could overcome it until I discovered steemit community then I was able to purchase my medicine for it and use it until today for my cure.
My Leontiasis is still a mystery for me because of the receding gums because underneath there was bones which makes me think that it is reverting back and the bones is shrinking. I am happy about and I am just hoping that it would continue to get smaller so that I could eventually eat without having to lay down which really is so inconvenient even though some see it like I was eating like a king >o< but nothing could be more farther from the truth and the truth of the matter is I am so bothered with it.
But the subtle changes over the course of a few months made my face shine with hope that at least now I know that my face won't grow larger into a more grotesque manner than I expect because the cause is now being controlled somewhat by my regular medication of my cinacalcet for my hyperparathyroidism.
It is good to realize now that my worries are now gone regarding if my head would grow larger, I thank God for all these grace and nothing I could ask for but for God to bless the steemit community, one of the source of my strength to overcome this monster of a health issue, it is falling beneath my feet, triumph is on my hand.
