The dilemma, as is sometimes the case with crackpot notions, is that it's purveyors take real positives and use them to augment, rather than replace, the fake positives.
In this case, it seems like the net result of following the diet might nonetheless be positive - but it's always irksome when folks do the right thing for all the wrong reasons. If they're willing to do that with this, what other crazy stuff are they willing to do?
