May I ask where you get these from? Because I often read that skipping breakfast (and fasting in general) is healthy. Also, Buddhism often advises to embrace boredom and celebrate it. And the older Buddhist monks almost always seem much healthier than regular folks. I think the primary cause of brain deterioration is sugar and high glycemic carbs. In fact, some recent research shows that a huge cause of Alzheimer's is sugar, and some doctors are even starting to call it "type 3 diabetes".
