Seems you equated the love for sweet/junk foods to excessive eating. It is actually possible to love all these sweet foods
Yes it is possible to maintain certain balance, but usually when people are eating too much, the food they ingest is not the healthy type, I mean when there is excessive eating, it seems to me that it is always (or close to always) with sweet or junk food, not with healthy food.

As far as I know, the most popular eating disorders are caused by an obsession regarding the physical looks of the person.
But if someone cannot control his eating habits and is being negatively affected because of it, he will surely suffer from some kind of eating disorder.
