This may be the millionth time that you are hearing this; because the fact that apple cider vinegar helps you to lose
weight is always on the news. Whether it is true or whether it is just a manufactured fiction, spread to confuse you,
you will have to agree that people are really into this new notion of fat control product. So the best thing that you and
perhaps we can do is find out researches that has dedicated their time in finding out the basis behind the claim that
apple cider vinegar actually helps you to lose weight. It is no hard task – innumerable researches had and are being
conducted to support the claim.
Apple Cider Vinegar And Weight Loss
Now, what needs to be done is find a correlative association between these researches to reach a conclusion on the
claim. Here are some of the researches that have been conducted in finding out the effects of the apple cider vinegar on fat loss.
Acetic acid which is the main component of apple cider vinegar, has the ability to suppress body fat accumulation and
other metabolic disorders. This study was conducted on obese rats, and the result was certainly positive, proving that
weight loss from consuming apple cider vinegar is plausible.
In 2015, a study proved the above claim to be true, when it was conducted on 12 people, who consumed apple cider vinegar with a bread meal.
However, the biggest study that has been conducted to prove the ability of apple cider vinegar was done on 2009 with
175 “obese” Japanese subjects, who were aged between 25 to 60 years old. They were split into three groups. The
obesity of a person in Japanese standards lies between 25 to 30 BMI, which is quite low considering many other
countries. The study was performed over a 12-week period, when each of the groups were given either one of the three
beverages containing – one tablespoon of the vinegar, or two tablespoon of the vinegar or no vinegar at all. After the
study was over, it was found that those who consumed the vinegar had a lower body fat, a smaller BMI, a small waist
measurement, less visceral fat and a lower triglyceride levels in the blood than those who didn’t consumed the vinegar
at all. However, even though the apple cider vinegar affected in different ways, it failed to make a significant progress in
the weight loss procedure, for the weight lost over the 12 week period was around 2 to 4 pounds. And that is way too little to even consider.
Apple Cider Vinegar and Blood Sugar Level
Stating everything that needs to be discussed, here is one thing that will interest you the most and this is perhaps the
biggest contribution of apple cider vinegar. This vinegar actually helps to control your blood sugar level.
A study was done on the effects of apple cider vinegar on controlling the blood sugar level and needless to say, the
results were impressive. The study on prediabetic group bore a significant result and to be precise vinegar had an
impact in all groups, but the most significant impact was in the prediabetic group. In prediabetics, it was too good to be
true; (blood sugar) fell a good bit and stayed that way. It may be this is the group that could benefit the most.
"
The theory that the researcher developed is that acetic acid interferes with enzymes that are responsible for the
breaking down of starch molecules. Hence the starch isn’t absorbed by our body, reducing the blood sugar level to a
normal mark and as anyone would tell you that controlling the blood sugar level also helps to control your weight.
It is of no doubt that apple cider vinegar has shown promise as a huge component of your weight loss program.
It is for this reason that Garcinia Cambogia and apple cider vinegar are making their way into the diets of a healthy person,
looking for opportunities to turn those stored fats into a thin and toned body. It is always advisable that you should take any step that ensures your healthy future.
