Food that makes you fat DOES NOT EXIST

in #health7 years ago (edited)

Often, in various articles, we can find information on food that makes you fat, fat-burning foods, and similar things.

The potential problem of internet and freedom of expression is that today’s opinion can become an article and a reference to the people for further spread of inaccurate, incomplete and unanticipated information.

That is why today we want to kill this myth about the foods that make you fat.

How can a food make you fat?

he starting point for this theory is the division of healthy and unhealthy foods and the belief that “unhealthy” foods are making you fat. We wrote about how healthy food does not exist, so we suggest reading this article to remind yourself.

It is important to know your daily energy needs.

A similar thing can be said here too. If we know how much energy we need to take in one day and we take less than what we need, will white bread we consume make us in that case? Will any carbohydrate we consume make us fat?

Of course not.

It is also necessary to meet the minimum protein intake with the calorie limit, but this is another topic, it is now enough to know that the food does not make us fat.

What make us fat then?

It is the amount of food we eat

Body mass increase follows a very simple formula, taking more energy than we need. If we eat eggs and asparagus over our daily calorie limit, this will result in increased body mass!

Excessive calorie intake make us fat.

If we eat anything over our daily calorie limit, it results in increased body mass.

That is why term of foods that make us fat absolutely makes no sense. It is the caloric value we eat that is affecting our body mass.

What have we learned today?

  1. Food that make us fat is based on healthy and unhealthy division of food
  2. For weight gain, it is necessary to eat more than what we need
  3. It is not the food but the amount of food we eat

If you find this article interesting, I would be happy to have your upvote. It is a great support for me to do even more articles and educate people about healthy lifestyle!

One of the best articles I he read on this ! I grew up on hamburgers and modesty aside I'm big and strong. I never completely fell for that vegetarian stuff. Pure vegetarians look pale and sickly to me.

Thank you man!

@thesteemster I just did another post about tricks on how to make soft scrambled eggs :)

This is what I've been saying for years! I call it "spoon in mouth disease". People absolutely MUST start taking resposibility for their own behaviour, instead of blaming everything but.

I totally agree with you :)

A really simple and easy article. Love this one. Btw, I am a marathoner and a cyclist. My body type is ultra skinny and I find it difficult to get weight even while consuming more than my daily demand is. It would be great if you could provide some information on the relation between the metabolism and what and how much should we eat.

Hey man, I believe that maybe you are not eating enough, because there is no fast and slow metabolism, basal metabolism is really a small amount of calories. How do you calculate your calorie intake and expenditure, maybe I can help? :)

"You are what you eat", right? ;)

They say it's like this :D

You eat what ever you want but in moderation.

Exactly. :)

I think there must be a balance because everything in excess is harmful, and often assimilate or not some food depends on factors that escape from us as genetics, I have friends who eat foods with high fat content as soon as they do sports and are very healthy and do not fatten other people we are not so lucky in my case under very fast weight but easily fattening

It's all about energy balance :)
