Here is one part of the real problem.
The medical industry and people in general with something to lose, like Trump for example, don't want to admit to errors. I've seen first hand the mentality of doctors where they feel they can walk on water and can't admit they are in the wrong. When something does go wrong, other doctors and the hospital will protect them in many cases. It's unfortunate, but there will be negative outcomes despite our best efforts and some family will have to live with that. Then they will come on the internet and tell the world how things went bad for them, so now the rest of the world thinks that doctors are awful.
Enterprising quacks then seize the opportunity to peddle their snake oil, with pseudoscience and hopefully low danger alternative medicine modalities. This is where I get bothered. If you are trying to tell people to be informed and get second opinions and to be skeptical within reason, then that's prudent and sensible. However, to throw the baby out with the bath water and give up on what has been shown to do so much good for all of humanity because of the relatively few cases where a child might have had a very bad reaction... Moderation, please.
Vaxxed the movie is debunked. There isn't a proof of a causal relationship with autism and vaccines. There isn't a global conspiracy to harm children with vaccines. I know it's hard to stay silent when your child is ill if you have a negative outcome, but that's life. Just be honest about it.
"My child possibly had a negative reaction to a vaccine around the time they were having surgery"
"Over time my child got better, perhaps this was due to some treatments we were getting from an alternative medicine doctor or something else. There isn't a good way of knowing."
Please, just show me scientific proof there is a causal link.
Please not from this guy though.
Andrew Wakefield, who almost single-handedly created the hysteria that swept the US.

(please pardon the length of my responses. There is so much to say and so little time in life to also edit it all, thanks)
In response to Andy Wakefield being a fraud. First of all, the movie isn't about Andy Wakefield, it is about a Whistleblower at the CDC who has thousands of documents to PROVE that the CDC committed fraud on the MMR & Autism study.
Secondly, have you even listened to the other side of the story on Dr. Wakefield? Don't you think that the corrupt pharmaceutical companies would not have wanted to silence him if he was speaking truth?
PLEASE, PLEASE, take the time to watch this 9 minute clip answering what REALLY happened to Dr. Andrew Wakefield. The media spread a lot of lies about him.
You can't use him being a "fraud" as the only reason to ignore the CDC Whistleblower.
I also posted 2 other videos on here if you look above for them that talk about why an award-winning journalist of the TV "Doctors" show left that job to direct VaxXed. He explains how he had to thoroughly investigate Dr. Wakefield before giving up his lucrative job. And another video that I posted below that one has Del Bigtree explaining exactly what the CDC Study actually showed.
Wakefield was the director of the movie. I'm busy at the moment. I'll continue when I'm free.
Cheers
(I got the film terms mixed up -- Del Bigtree is the Producer and Dr. Wakefield is the Director of VaxXed.)
