RE: How to Unplug Yourself ✨

in #health8 years ago

How to unplug... Let me stop you there. As much as I have to admit that I do have an obsession with being online, I do not regret it. I lived most my life in the stone ages and only truly got connected around 6 years ago. Being online and connected to all the information I could ever want is unbelievably important to me.

I'm with you! I love being online and as you can read in the first line of this blogpost I even state that most of my hours I spend online. I'm a digital entrepreneur and don't know what I would do without it, but that doesn't stop me from caring about my health and realizing that just like a Computer needs a restart at times, my brain and body do to. I'm not saying being Online is bad, but that you should care about offline time, to recharge throughout the day, which will have the lovely side effect of boosting your efficiency when you go back online :)

You just summed up your entire post in one comment, yet made it easier to relate to

I know. That was said in jest. I still try to peel myself away for a few hours a day.. You know for family and stuff.
