It is a universal feeling and no matter how well behaved you are, you cannot avoid the feeling. You get that unmistakable look that immediately gets you some pity stare from people and then the "sorry" just comes flooding in.
It is usually just brushed off as a mere stomach upset or simple indigestion, it is coupled with discomfort and week feelings. When this happens, it comes with nausea, regurgitation, vomiting, bloating, heartburn and stomach upset.
To some, it is just indigestion and they tend to just leave it at that to the detriment of their health. Sometimes, dyspepsia may be as a result of serious illness- peptic ulcer, gallbladder disease, gastritis(stomach inflammation), pancreatic disease, irritable bowel syndrome, etc can be a sign of dyspepsia.
Dealing with Dyspepsia.
This particular disorder is usually short lived but painfully terrible while it lasts. You can make it even shorter by applying these few methods.
- Eat lite. Too much fatty food can cause indigestion. If you watch and cut down on your intake of fatty meals, you will be able to put dyspepsia at bay. Manage your intake of such meals that come cropped up with those kinds of meals.
- Drink ginger ale. Avoid drinking caffeinated beverages if you want to stay healthy and free from dyspepsia. Try and take more of ginger and herbal teas so that the symptoms of Dyspepsia will be minimized to the barest minimum. Taking sufficient liquid will help you but only when it has some soothing effect.
- Say no to food. Most people suffer dyspepsia from eating too much. If you are one of such, do well to eat less and avoid stuffing yourself up. Give your stomach the desired rest it needs from too much meals.
It is mostly hard to say no to food but you can minimize your intake per time so your system has enough room to digest what it has taken in.
It is not always serious for many and for others, it is usually a terrible time. Indigestion or Dyspepsia as I call it can really out you off your game when it comes calling. Do more to make sure you find release from that discomfort and pain.
Eat and drink in moderation and you will surely stay healthier than you know. Health is wealth and wealth without health is vain.
