A report published on Food and Nutrition website published that eggs are rich in protein rich foods. A recent study found that eating an egg every day reduces the risk of stroke by up to 12 percent.
A large size egg contains six grams of high quality proteins, and in egg yolk, antioxidant lutein and gicethylene contain even Vitamin 'E', 'D' and 'A'.
Dominic Alexander, principal researcher of the API Star Institute in Michigan, said: "There are various types of nutrients including antioxidants in the egg, it helps to reduce oxidative stress and inflammation. Eggs are good sources of proteins and proteins help reduce blood pressure. "
