Great article, thank you for sharing! I'm always quite suspicious of health claims such as this one, and am happy that someone finally explains the science behind it. Everything is always oversimplified, like when they claim the whole body needs to be alkaline. There also the claim that owadays, foods are nutrition deficient, and that we therefore need to "make up" for this with supplements. I would love to hear your take on this topic.
I'm personally a firm believer of just eating a varied and balanced diet, in addition to exercise, which should in theory be enough to stay healthy! I look forward to more posts like these!
