10 LIFE HACKS THAT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE

  HELLO EVERYONE

               I hope you’re all doing great? Today I want to share 10 wonderful tips that have greatly improved my lifestyle since I started practicing them. These 10 tips changed my life and has helped me live a healthier and more balanced lifestyle. I actually use these habits daily, even when am about to go off track, it helps me stay on track.   

                                                                       SET GOALS AND PLAN AHEAD

              It’s always great to plan ahead and have a schedule. Work out class, meal prep or family time... whatever you really need to do, schedule it. It'll make doing it much easier and you'll be able to follow through. This has really helped me a lot (Especially for someone like me who finds it a bit difficult to focus). Once I plan it out, I get mentally committed and this makes me want to make sure I do it. You just need to get organized and use technology (by entering events in your google calendar which will sync it across all your mobile devices so you can stay aware of all upcoming events.) Good self-discipline is reflected in good organizational skills.


                                                                    HYDRATE REGULARLY 

            The benefits of drinking water regularly cannot be over emphasized. Water plays a major role in our body functions. It helps cleanse our body (inside and out) through the kidney (which needs water to filter waste from the blood and excrete it through urine). Water keeps the skin supple and it promotes cardiovascular health. It helps calm the body down. I could go on and on about the importance of staying hydrated. It’s simply very important.  



                                                                      UTILIZE LEFTOVERS 

              I love food a lot, and am not one to make food and eat it for the rest of the week. So I like to just prep my meal; just chop vegetables and marinate things that taste better when marinated overnight. I can make a smoothie and keep it overnight in the fridge. This habit is mostly helpful for someone who works a lot of hours daily or for someone who is on a diet. It helps you stick to your diet. Plan meals ahead and don’t throw left overs away.                                                                    STOP THE COMPARISON

                Jealousy, Envy and sadness are all very unhealthy qualities. The social media realm we live in these days has made this tip a bit tougher to follow. Every day, we are flooded with picture perfect relationships or picture perfect men and women. This tends to make one feel a little bit less confident. So a tip I like to follow is to remind myself daily of how fabulous i am. I personally like to write one great attribute about myself daily in my diary( you can do this anywhere, as long as you can see it quite often; it could be on your bathroom mirror or on your closet door or your desktop.) I write one great quality about my personality. This helps remind me of how great i am and it helped boost my self-confidence. This is all about verbal affirmation and it'll help you believe in yourself. Instead of comparing yourself with others, just love yourself. No one can love you like you. Love your imperfections, and always be grateful for what you have and what you have achieved.  



                                                                      GET ENOUGH SLEEP 

               Sleep plays a vital role in our good health and wellbeing. Getting enough quality sleep at the right time can help protect our mental health, physical health and quality of life. During sleep, your body is working to support healthy brain function and maintain your physical health. Getting adequate sleep helps sharpen your attention and it also helps improve body metabolism. So please always find or create time to get at least eight hours of sleep daily. It'll improve your overall life span.     



                                                                           EXERCISE REGULARLY

             This list will not be complete if I don't add regular exercise. One might say "Oh am too busy working" or "I just don’t have time". It doesn’t have to be intense exercise. It's usually the little life style changes that counts. You may not even call it exercise, more like increased physical activity. A daily 10 minute abdominal routine or a 30 minute walk can make a whole lot of difference in your life. Exercising regularly can improve your mood and reduce anxiety or stress. It will keep you in shape and also reduce risk of chronic diseases.  


                                                        HANG OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS

              Our social life is a very important aspect of our mental stability. Hanging out with friends doesn’t have to be a big prep. It could be after work or weekend drinks or a group workout. This will greatly help relieve stress and just put you in a happier mood.  

                                                                      TRY SOMETHING NEW  

             This will lead to greater self-confidence. It'll also stimulate the inner creativity in you. It'll help you overcome fear and also get to know yourself better. You might just try little things like learning a new sport or learning to cook a new meal or even try out a little side business. Make sure you try out things you always really wanted to do.    

                                                                        LISTEN TO YOUR BODY 

              Everyone on Earth is very different and what works for my body definitely won’t work for yours. This is why we must learn how to listen to our bodies. Listening to our body can prevent some form of ill health and injury. When we listen to our body signals, we'll know when to stop pushing ourselves and when to take a rest. It'll also tell us when we've had enough food or not to eat certain types of food. Always pay attention to your body.  



                                                   TAKE PROBIOTICS AND VITAMINS 

            This is also important for a healthy life. This will boost your immune system, reduce different types of health risks and make you stronger. It's not compulsory to actually take supplements but try to eat foods rich in probiotics and vitamins. For those who don’t have time to prep healthy food, then it’s advisable to take food supplements.   

         These tips make up my day to day living and it has greatly improved the standard of life i live. I hope it does same for you.

One tip back: do a search in help re images etc... lots of info re copyright & where OK images are & which ones on google etc (not all are OK to use!)

oh really, i thought i could use any image as long as i state the source... now i know better... thanks for letting me know

No most of the stuff on google searches is pirate (apparently!)
but you can filter on google, but even that is not 100%
the prob is steem getting sued from what I read
so the bots are watching!!
check help & do some searching, lots or articles.
I'm still not clear re "fair use" laws, so I'm sticking to "free pic" sites from now on. (now that I know about this!) loosing votes sucks!
