1. How much more time in the day I have
Most of our days are organized around: where, when, and what we'll eat. But moost days I would only need to juice twice a day. In the morning before work and then after I got home. The entire process of juicing and cleaning would take no more than 15 minutes. You allow yourself a tangible amount of more time in the day that you literally question eating in itself because of how much time is wasted. Most people only remember the first few bites anyway. And how much of our lives are taken up by this activity. I understand most people would not ever want to give up food for even a day – but to be freed of such an innate thing is truly transforming.
"In the 1980s, Mayo Clinic researchers measured digestion time in 21 healthy people. Total transit time, from eating to elimination in stool, averaged 53 hours” Everything about eating food takes too long. Planning, shopping, cooking, eating, cleaning. Maybe that's why it seems less food is ate around the dinner table and more at a restaurant table."
2. Not only did I have more energy than I thought, I had more than when consuming my regular diet
Drinking nutrient and mineral dense juice is like a super tonic for the body. They can taste as good as your imagination to blend juices or ability to google recipes. The most mind bending juice I ever had was made with beets, garlic, ginger and carrot. More powerful than any redbull or monster energy drink.(period)
3. After the first two days of adjusting I no longer had brain fog
The mind is a terrible thing to waste. And you may never know that your diet has something to do with your cloudy ways of thought, but it does. If you're one of those people that have trouble remembering things or always seems out of it. I can't suggest this enough. That feeling you get when you're extremely alert and not jittery is something you don't see nowadays. We are usually dependent on stimulants for anything close to that but still no match.
4. I looked more healthy by only consuming liquids because I was free of inflammation
Inflammation is something everyone has to a certain extent. Whether it's from acidic food or too much salt, we've all experienced the bloat it causes from holding onto excess liquid in the body. Think about it this way - Our stomachs and digestive-system never get a rest. They are constantly processing the food we eat with little to no down time. New science is also proving how important the gut alone is to our health.
“The three pounds of microbes that you carry around with you might be more important than every single gene you carry around in your genome”
5. FOOD. CRAVINGS. FINALLY. STOP.
You are in control, not your stomach. I had to admit it that I'm not in control of myself at all times. I am subject to my food cravings as they have the ability to stop me on my way home from work to pick up junk food, even though I am headed home where food will be at the table. I think most of us at some point or another could agree that they've ate something they've regretted – maybe it even happens to you everyday. One of the best things that happened to me after my 10 days of juice, was that my mother decided to do it too after I told her about it. And she actually went for 12 days and was the healthiest she felt in years. She went out and bought the same juicer as me as well which is never a bad decision. There is a big difference from buying store bought juice and juicing your own – and not only with the price. The juicing journey stays with you longer and makes a bigger impact when you're doing it from start to finish. The entire process is very rewarding. Give it a try and it just may change your life or someone else around you.

Did you have no food at all for the 10 days? Or did you have a limited food intake along with the juicing?
100% no food, and even a couple days after I only had fruits and veggies and salads to not shock my system.
