Great points made in this post, I enjoyed reading it, HOWEVER, Robots cannot feel, Robots do not have empathy, So in a medical perspective, Robots I don't think would be able to ever replace, such things like end of life care, or bringing a baby into the world. So I suggest that the next generation should extend their selection of post secondary studies to include Gerontology or possibly the social sciences, such as psychology. The baby boomers turn 70 this year, we have a very aging population and the birth rate is considerable down in comparison to years ago. Question is who is going to take care of all these seniors, something?, or someone with care and compassion. Just my thoughts.

I agree @gardengirlcanada some of these synthetic robots are actually creepy looking. I wouldn't trust a robot to watch after me now let along my old age! Thanks for your comment.
