In my opinion NO the pills are not worth it. As you pointed out, taking a pill is not solving the root cause of your weight gain. So it's a band-aid solution.

Loosing weight is simple [I did not say easy]. Consume less calories than you burn each day. This is called a calorie deficit.

Raspberry s have a lot of glucose
Better loose weight with protein
So you avoid an insulin rush every time you eat glucose
two hours after the insulin rush you will get hungry again
As long there is glucose in your blood your body can't loose fat
insulin stops all the fatburning if you need more info let me now

You are right! Raspberry contains a significant amount of glucose that can hinder fat loss.

For weight loss there's nothing better than fresh water, fresh fruit and vegetables and a homestead with chickens to run after haha :)
Actually for my clients I recommend to steer clear of over the counter diet aids and just improve their lifestyle and up their exercise, water intake and to eat healthier according to their caloric needs.
