Getting Decaffeinated - Day One

We’re up early, doing the final shuffle to get packed and out the door to today’s festival and I find one thing on my mind...

WHERE IS MY COFFEE?!

I miss it most in the morning. I then miss caffeine the rest of the day. I try in vain to drink milk and tell myself it’s just as good. I feel like a junkie wanting his cup!

So far my major symptoms of the detox have been a headache and sleepiness.

I’ve tried Tylenol to take the headache away, knowing that wouldn’t help, and it didn’t help.

Oh well. I will press on! Gotta get out and on the road to the 1st Annual WNC Bigfoot Festival — we’re craft vendors.

I sometimes go a couple weeks without coffee. Try vitamin B! It helps me on days when I don't have caffeine.

Have you tried a decaf? Could be you crave the taste just as much as the hit so it might be able to help tide you over?
