Peptic ulcers are sores that appear on the walls of the stomach due to eroded his stomach wall layers. Complications Of Peptic Ulcers

Complications due to peptic ulcers is indeed rarely experienced, but can still show up especially if not handled appropriately. Some of the complications of peptic ulcers that are potentially serious, include:

  • Bleeding in the stomach. These are the complications of peptic ulcers are the most common. The volume of bleeding can be mild or severe to require a blood transfusion. Mild bleeding leads to the onset of anemia so that the face becomes pale, exhausted, and heart pounding.

  • Be careful in the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory.
  • Reduce or quit smoking.
  • Avoid alcoholic drinks.
