5 tasty and healthy juice recipes

Good morning dear Steemians, how are you? Today I bring you 5 recipes of natural and very rich juices that contribute to improve your health. I hope you like the post and if I have something to improve or have any suggestions let me know in comments. Let's go to the post itself:

The best way to get very easy your daily portion of fruit!

Everyone knows that fruit is very good for health. Every day we should eat our portion of fresh vegetables, but we should also eat at least two pieces of fruit a day.

In my experience this works excellently in summer, but when the temperature drops a lot, it rains and the sky turns dark grey, I don't feel like eating a sour, fresh apple. What's the solution? Make juices!

I drink very little industrial fruit and vegetable juice every day, I don't like added sugar and preservatives. If I want to have a fruit-flavored drink, I prefer to make it myself in my juicer, which is much healthier for me and my family. In addition, it lets me know exactly what I'm drinking and be able to make the perfect and fair mix of fruits and vegetables.

Don't be afraid at all to use vegetables next to fruits. Some vegetables, like carrots and beets, are quite sweet and taste great with apples or oranges. You'll find it's not so hard to eat the suggested daily servings of fruits and vegetables preparing your own juices in winter. And by mixing a little ginger, you will not only make your drink more spicy, but it will also help your immune system, especially if you are male as it acts by helping to increase testosterone.

Have I convinced you? Then try my five super tasty juice recipes! It won't take much work: you should first wash the fruits and vegetables, put them in the juicer, put the juice in a glass and enjoy your homemade juices! Even when it rains and there's a lot of wind outside, I like to decorate our glasses with a little frosted sugar on the edge or a good cocktail sorbet for a great, fantastic summer feeling. Without further ado, let's move on to the ingredients:

The recipes are for two adults.

Orange, apple, ginger and lemon.

Ingredients: 2 medium oranges, 2 medium apples, 1/2 tablespoon of fresh ginger.
and 1/2 juice of a lemon.

Did you know that orange, besides having a lot of vitamin C, has a depurative and protective effect on our body? They allow us to reduce the effect of free radicals and balance good cholesterol with bad cholesterol, helps to circulate blood better and helps to combat arteriosclerosis.

Cucumber, lemon and apple.

Cucumber juice contains minerals such as copper, magnesium and potassium, and this helps to increase bone density and helps to prevent osteopenia and osteoporosis. It also helps produce white blood cells that fight free radicals.

Ingredients: 1/2 medium cucumber, 1/2 lemon juice and 3 medium apples.

Apple, carrot and ginger.

Ingredients: 2 apples, 4 medium carrots and 1/2 tablespoon of fresh ginger.

For their great contribution of vitamins, beta carotenoids and dietary fiber, carrots improve our defenses against disease.

Carrot oil is rich in carotol and alpha-pinene, compounds that help desinflamar tissues and help to regenerate the liver.

Ginger in turn is detoxifying, helps increase testosterone in men and is anti-inflammatory in addition to having a very tasty spicy taste.

Orange, apple, beet, and lemon.

Apples are perfect for lowering levels of bad cholesterol in the body, reduce constipation and make the kidneys work for better elimination of toxins in our body.

On the other hand beets are well known for being depurative and diuretic and also help lower blood pressure, helps reduce constipation and increase hemoglobin levels and thus combat anemia.

Ingredients: 2 oranges, 2 apples, 2 medium beets and 1/2 lemon juice.

Pear, kiwi, pineapple and lemon.

The kiwi for its large amount of vitamin C can help reduce nervousness and anxiety. It also serves to purify the body. It also contains vitamin E and omega 3 and 6, the kiwi makes the blood lighter.

Ingredients: 1 pear, 3 kiwis, 1/2 medium pineapple (heartless, peeled) 1/2 lemon juice.

I can eat as healthy as possible but the only thing that I don't like is that blood-colored beetle juice unless it's mixed with orange. Thx for the value.

I love your recipes and I agree that juices are best homejuiced :) I think the industrial juices contain more sugar than anything. At least when we juice it ourselves, we know they are pure. I like the way you mix vegetables with fruits. And I have some oranges, apples and carrots lying around to try your recipe with :)

Hi. These recipes are wonderful. Apples in my country Venezuela are very expensive so I must substitute this fruit for another of the same nutritional quality. Can you make any suggestions?

Thanks a lot for your comment Marcy. I think you can try papaya, mango or guaraná. Maybe strawberry or acaí or azaí (the brazilian fruits). It´s a shame heard that apples are expensives in Venezuela. Here in Argentina a lot of apple producers are throwing the production cause the price is very low. A big Hi for you and have a wonderful weekend. :)

Great combinations! I'm juicing all the time and it's the best and easiest way to get in your veggies and fruits.

I must admit that I eat much more fruit and veggies than 5 portions a day which I read is recommended and I feel great :)

I personally prefer the one with apple, carrot and ginger, my favorite flavors with that touch of ginger that also gives a sprint to metabolism :-)) and your one?

Thanks a lot for leave me a comment. My favourite is guaraná juice. Guaraná is a fruit that grows in Brazil. Another one is Acaí or Azaí juice that is another fruit typical of Brazil. I went several times to Brazil and tasted that flavours of juice. Another good one is pineapple with mint.
