Let's say you feel more confident about dealing with your puberty changes in your body after reading my first article.

But, what is a Period? When will it start, and what is a menstral circle?

The truth is getting your period is probably one of tge biggest change you should respect during puberty. Period, cycle, pink days, red cloud call it what ever you like, its all the same.

Your period is what we call the days of the month when you begin to shed tissue, fluid, and blood, it is also called mesntrual discharge. It leaves through your vagina.

*How frequently does it come? How long does it last?
It varies. For most girls and women, it usually happens once each month and last between three to seven days. This could sound frightening, well its part of growing into a strong healthy woman!

Note: During period, please use good pads and tampons to keep your body and underwear clean

Your Menstral Circle

Your menstral circle is the time between the first day of one period and tge first day of the next period. This could take an average time of 28days, but if its 21 and 35 days they are very normal. Then the circle starts again.

Let's Explain some of the processes

As a growing girl its essential you know these terms;-

Menstruation
This could be seen as the process where by the endometruim leaves the body through the vagina as a reddish fluid containing blood, it is called menses. This is your Period.

Premenstrual

This is when the egg isn't fertilized, it preaks down and the endometruim isn't needed, as a result hormone levels drop, causing the endometruim to shed. This could be attributed to symptoms known as PMS.

Pre-ovulation

A woman body has two ovaries that contains thousands of eggs also called ova. Estrogen, the female hormone cellshave ovary to release an egg monthly and also the soft liming known as endometrium, this is found in the uterus, the place wherenaby can grow. This is also followed with a thicken action.

Ovulation

Ovulation occurs when a mature egg is released from tge ovary. After tge release of the egg, it is traversed along the falopian tube to the thickening endometrium. If a sperm which is the male reproductive cell fertilizes the egg, a baby develops. During the time of ovulation you will notice changes in your vigina discharge in volume and texture.

Your Time is always right.

Relax Sweetheart there is no right time for a period to start. You are most likely to get your first period between the ages of 10 and 16, but every girl is different. Your period will start when your body is ready. So, if you haven't started by the time you are 16, its a good idea to see your doctor, remain calm and don't fright.

Until next when I come your way again, I am yours truly loved, @iconnelly.

it's interesting how and why you'd choose to touch on this topic for girls, but I too for one, agree that we should be open towards educating young girls specifically those growing teens, about how to respect their bodies and learning more about them. Perhaps if you can provide a takeaway from your post that'll be great- informational and educational - win! @iconnelly

I coudn't agree less, girls are very sensitive, most single parents(male) are uvnorant to this. Thanks fir stopping by.
