The refined table sugar that we generally use is made from much chemical processing and it has no nutritional value . Its daily conumption increases fat percentage in body , also causes wrinkles , bad breath , bad teeth and increases risk of diabetes .

so we need to change it. Now , we will be talking about best sugar alternatives . First of all let me clear that I will not be talking about those artificial sugar free powders that are sold in market because they are very harmful for your health . We will talk about natural and healtheir alternatives .

Lets begin :

1.) Stevia or Meethi Tulsi
Image result for stevia It is a natural sweetner. 1gm stevia powder is equivalent in sweetness to 4-5 tea spoons of sugar . while sugar 80 empty calories and stevia has 0 calories . Studies have proved that stevia is free of any side effect . It is much sweeter than sugar and has many health benefits . It has zero glycemic index .You can shift from sugar to stevia .

2.) Coconut sugar
Image result for coconut sugar coconut sugar is another best alternative of table sugar . As compared to refined table sugar , it not only it gets digested very easily but it is very rich in minerals like iron , potassium , zinc , calcium etc.. Its glycemic index is much less than table sugar . You can easily buy it online .

3.) Date Sugar

Date sugar is derived from dates which is one of the fruit . So this is completely natural and one of the best alternatives to sugar . you can even make it at home . It includes 3 steps : 1.) roasting dates 2.) grinding dates 3.) then strain them . and your date sugar is ready.

Date sugar is extremely rich in fibre and many vitamins and minerals . It also helps in digestion and increases bone density. It also reduces bad cholestrol. It glycemic index is 40-50 . You can easily buy it online.

  1. ) Rock sugar or Mishri
               Indians have been using mishri since ages . It is just produced before refined table sugar . It is very versatile and taste like table sugar that we generally use . It is rich in calcium , magnesium , iron , dietry fiber , antioxidants . Helps digestion and increases haemoglobin . It can be used in every place where a sugar is used .  If it is available to your place then use it .

NOTE : make sure to buy the threaded mishri . Not the crystal one because it nothing but just the bigger version of refined sugar .

  1. ) HONEY

    Do you know that Honey has almost the same compostion as that of human blood . Due to this it gets easily assimilated in the body . Any food that combined with honey , gets digested easily . It is an amazing alternative to sugar . It has many antioxidants and antibacterial properties . If it is taken with mixed with luke warm lemon water every morning , it reduces body fat .

  2. ) Jaggery / jaggery powder

      jaggery or jaggery powder is the best of all that we have discussed before in nutrients . Natural blood purifier , boosts metabolism , detoxify the liver and prevents constipation . If you are facing skin problems , replace sugar to jaggery .  Jaggery is hot while jaggery powder is cool . So , jaggery can be taken in winter and jaggery powder in summer. It has many minerals . 
    

So, try replacing sugar in any of these . You will feel more energy , weight loss and good feeling.

Jaggery is one of the best sugar alternatives. It has been in use since ancient times in India.
Stevia and Meethi Tulsi are also some great sugar alternatives.
