Welcome to day 3 of the journey, let's get to these GAINS!!!
Food:
Today I had only one meal consisting of fried chicken, scalloped potatoes, asparagus, peas, and cauliflower. It was a pretty hefty meal probably somewhere between 1200 and 1500 calories. I also had 2 clementines totaling around 100 calories. It's still early so I'll allow myself 400 extra calories before I go to bed in case I get hungry. This leaves us with 1600-2000 calories!
EDIT: I ended up eating an additional 1,000 calories which I regret. However the point of this log is to record the ups AND downs of my journey. That brings the total cal count to 3,000 calories!
Exercise:
3 sets of (reps in parenthesis)
-100lb bench press (12,8,10)
-25lb DB Curls (8,4,6)
-25lb DB tricep extensions (8,4,6)
-25lb DB upper back extension (4,3,3)
-Lunges (12,8,10)
-Pullups (2,3,3)
I also did a warm-up set of each exercise at about 40-60% of intended set intensity.
Vitamins:
-Zinc (100mg)
-Boron (3mg)
-5HTP (200mg)
-Magnesium (500mg)
-Lecithin (1,360 mg)
Emotional states/notes:
Today I felt the positive effects from my choices in the past 2 days. I felt more energetic and lighter on my feet and while the big meal does have me feeling a little bloated, I know I'm still in a caloric deficit and, thanks to my pre-dinner workout, I still feel strong and aware mentally.
