US healthcare system and reversing Type 2 diabetes

in #health8 years ago (edited)

As we know the US healthcare system is seriously flawed, throughout their medical training doctors will only receive about 1 to 2 weeks of real world nutrition education. They’re too busy learning about the effect of different compounds, and drug interactions, as depending on their specialty their job might be to prescribe pharmaceuticals. They’re an extension of the pharmaceutical companies.

Another problem is that there’s a massive amount of info on the web about curing or dealing with certain health conditions, and it’s difficult to know what to go with. There are many informational products sold that really do help people get over certain conditions, but why should people have to pay for this information?

It should be a human right.

Sarah Hallberg is an obesity doctor, in this video she explains the dietary changes you can make to potentially reverse type 2 diabetes. If you don’t have diabetes it’s still a good watch based on the habits she conveys.
