What is stroke?
A stroke is the sudden death of brain cells in a localized area due to inadequate blood flow.
Stroke may caused by blocked artery,or the leaking or bursting of blood vessels.
Stroke affects not only the elderly but also the younger people. People who are 65 years old above, the one who has family history of stroke,those who are with high blood pressure, smoker, alcoholic, obesity etc are most prone to stroke. But how can we determine that a person is about to have stroke? Or should I say, what are the symptoms of stroke? Here are some identification that a person is about to have stroke.
Symptoms
1.Face dropping
- one of the corner of the mouth is lowered.
2.Weakness in the arms
- both arms cant be lifted at the same time
3.Speech difficulties
- difficult to speak, speech is slow and slurred.
4.Twisted tonge
-the tonge become twisted.
Those are some symptoms you can notice to a person who is about having to stroke. You can easily remember those symptoms by this abbreviation.
F -face
A -arms
S -speech
T -tongue
Always remember and observe the person to determine whether that person is about to get stroke.
When you encounter this situation wherein, you are the only person and the one who is about to get stroke, what would you do in order to save his/her life? Do you have any idea what to do? If not, you should know this first aid tips to save a person from stoke.
When an individual gets stroke, the capillaries of the brain are gradually tearing. And this requires rest and first aid must be apply immediately. This tips will help you save someone's life.
What to do during the stroke
When we encounter this kind of situation, most of us surely gets panic. The first thing to do is, immediately call for a rescue. In this situation every minute matters. While waiting for the rescue to come, keep calm and relax. Regardless of where the the victim is, do not move the patient because the capilliaries may burst and it may lead to brain bleeding. It is important you know what to do when you encounter the situation that require emergency medical care.
Things to do to avoid stroke
Health is wealth, we must be aware of how we can take good care of it. Live in a healthy lifestyle, eat healthy foods and excercise regularly. Avoid from smoking, alcoholic drinks, and illegal drugs . In this way, we can prevent different kind of diseases or illnesses.
We should be responsible of taking care of our body. Be concious of what should eat and what is not. Be aware of our health status and learn how to live life with a healthy body. As early as possible quit from the things that may cause danger to your body. Prevention is better than cure. Don't wait for the time, that your body will experience different kind of illnesses before you change your lifestyle.

Thanks for the info @jasonabejero. I sometimes have this difficulty. In fact, I have my maintenance too. Kaso, we tend to forget when there's much for the eyes to see. This is a constamt reminder for people like me.
