Yes, great​ post! As we now know, gut health directly correlates to brain health and inflammation or lack of inflammation. So eliminating processed foods, sugar, processed starches like-wheat and alternative sweeteners, and reducing fruit intake are ways to keep inflammation at bay-thus helping to avoid succumbing to certain diseases (if we are naturally pre-disposed to them and if environmental factors make us more prone to them).
