RE: Children Vaccinated At Birth For Hepatitis B in Australia! Why?

Thank you for taking the time to write this comment - I appreciate it as I am continually learning! =)

I have a few points I wish to share with you:

Firstly I believe the Government is there to serve people, although sadly this does not seem to be the case. I believe it is inherently dangerous for our Government to make all our decisions for us and deny us our individual freedom of choice. That sounds like some dystopian nightmare where we behave like robots.

Secondly my own experiences assisting with corruption of Doctor's by one of the world's largest Pharmaceutical companies with the tacit participation of the Government shocked me to my core. It was very obvious how deep the corruption ran and how it had nothing to do with the welfare of patients or the Hippocratic oath. I detailed my experiences in this post which you may find interesting:

Finally your argument and a similar one made above by @john1981 seems to imply a closed community and appears to be negated by tourism. This got me thinking. Here is what I wrote above:

Australia's current population is 23.78 million people. Australia currently receives 8.46 million visitors a year. Australia does not require vaccinations to visit and does not vaccinate people on arrival (although it is evident that this would be profitable for the Pharmaceutical companies).

With a yearly influx of almost 30% of the population of potentially unvaccinated tourists I wonder how this impacts "herd immunity"? Does this negate "herd immunity" or should Australia vaccinate all visitors on arrival? It would devastate tourism if they insisted on this!

I would be most interested in hearing your opinion on the effect of an influx of around 30% of the population yearly who may or may not be vaccinated?

I wrote this post in the spirit of open discussion. I believe in open debate and I also believe freedom of choice is an inherent human right!

Once again thank you for your comment! =)
