How healthy is the orange juice in the morning

in #health7 years ago

If you think that drinking orange juice in the morning can improve your health, you should get acquainted with the study results, which were published in the "Appetite" magazine.

Scientists have found that frequent fruit juice consumption increases the risk of heart disease and stroke.

Scientists from Australia have conducted this study to ascertain whether natural fruit juices improve or exacerbate health. Although natural fruit juices are always a better choice than candied or carbonated juices, they are sometimes harmful.

Unlike fruits themselves, fruit juices will not give the feeling of satiety because they do not contain fiber. It is therefore much easier to consume a greater number of calories than when you eat a fresh fruit.

The study included 160 healthy adults. Participants had to complete a questionnaire that included questions about their eating habits. The researchers then measured the level of blood pressure to the participants.

The results of the study showed that people who drank fruit juice each day had a higher risk of developing high blood pressure compared to their peers who drank fruit juice occasionally or rarely.

However, the results of the research should not be considered in the application of healthy eating habits because the sample of participants was small and the researchers did not take into account other factors, except eating habits.

However, it should be understood that fruit juices also contain calories. About 250ml of orange juice contains 80 calories.

With these calories do not come the components that make us feel satiated, as is the case with raw fruits so it is almost always a better choice to bypass the juices.
