According to Harvards latest study on red meat and mortality, only one serving of red meat a day increased the risk of dying from cancer by 10% and for processed meat it was 16%.
The study also found that red meat was so harmful that replacing it with virtually any other food decreased the risk of dying of all causes.
Red meat also increased the risk of Cardiovascular mortality by 18%.

And according to Walter Willett the chair of Harvards nutrition department, your body does not care if it gets its amino acids from plant or animal sources, but plants have a better quality of protein that brings along other nutrients that are conducive to good health.
So you are better off eating plants.
