Jokes aside, great article! Tbh I also believed that it would be best to reduce NaCl intake. I mean, if you look at the mechanisms in the nephrons it seems reasonable that more sodium=more water reabsorption=higher bp. Never even bothered looking into this. I guess the lesson is that "dietary scientific facts" should be taken with a grain of salt... Cheers!

Sodium in 9th most abundant element in our bodies. It would be really strange to think that our bodies don't have the efficient mechanisms how to keep up with higher concentrations.
