Steemit Weekly Health Challenge #3 - De-stressing with a cup of coffee and a cigarette

After these hectic duties from hospital, I just want some private smoking place to relax or  de-stress. I go home and make a cup of coffee.When ever I think of de-stressing, just a cup of coffee and one cigarette can make me relax. When I think to quit smoking, I just need one cigarette to think. Even many people take a cigarette just to relieve stress or when experiencing stress. It doesn't mean to look cool for me rather it makes me sharp, alert, relax and calm. 

Did you know ? - But study suggests that it doesn't relieve stress but make more anxiety and tension.

So, how do I feel relax ? 

There are various type of stress in the ongoing world. Not all kind of stress are negative and one's stress is not equivalent to other's. There are various ways to kill stress in the positive and negative methods.

But I recommend to use the positive kind of methods which doesn't harm you body rather improves your health and well-being. It makes your more energized when faced with stress personally. It includes the yoga or some other kinds of relaxing musics. 

A moment to relax - This picture is taken by me from Iphone 6s : My friend brought this cigarette from South Asia. This cigarette is most consumed by the people from South Asia. The feedback from this cigarette by people has rated 9 out of ten in category of pleasure and relaxation. 

Everyone knows that Cigarette contains nicotine. It's alkaloid and psychoactive or a mood altering drug. Even there are 4000 chemicals and various other carcinogens but this nicotine makes me more calm. Nicotine is addictive as well but the other half just relaxes the body. From Pharmacological aspects,  it increases the blood pressure, heart rate, heart muscle consumption rate and even increases the heart stroke volume. Not even this, it increases the alertness and a sensation of being relaxed.

For the first time smokers, there are various symptoms of anxiety and tension. For the smokers, the stress level decreases as mention in this article here. 

Science behind the stimulation and relaxation : 

When the nicotine is inhaled, it reaches the brain via bloodstream.There is a kick given by this nicotine to the glands that releases the adrenaline hormone. This adrenaline gives body to release glucose. On the other half, it makes the dopamine pathway more excitable. Dopamine in the brain cause motivation and makes the pleasure area of brain stimulated. Simply, it enhances concentration, alertness and reduce anxiety along with pain. 

Depending upon the dosage, it can be stimulation or non-stimulating. For the people who want stimulant, they take a quick puff where the nicotine reach brain blood in low dosage where for people who want a relaxing effect take a long ans slow puff which makes a mild sedative effects.  

Conclusively, there are various side effects too. Maybe  I light up the cigarette when the crave for smoking is making me relax or the nicotine with it gameplay in the brain. As I smoke, I don't want to go against it.
