Hello guys i have been eating a fruit based diet for a couple of months now and have seen great benefits so i wanted to share a transitional guide on how to start a fruitarian lifestyle slowly without experiencing much of the withdrawal symptoms.
Stage1:
You would want to start the day with a glass of water with 1/2 lemon squeezed into it also you can add some apple cider vinegar as this helps to promote good gut flora.
->proceed with your usual daily routine
Do this for about 3 days.
The next stages you would want to do and tweak it to your preferences for about 7 days
Stage2:
Start eating only fruit for breakfast and try not to eat starch and meat together in one meal.
So a typical day would then look like this:
Lemonwater-> Fruit for breakfast-> regular lunch without meat -> regular dinner with meat, veggies or whatever you like BUT without starches.
Stage3: You would want to start eating fat based fruits like avocados or some dried coconut with dark chocolate at dinner time so you wont have to deal with the common night time cravings as many people experience when they drop meat and starches at dinner.
From here onward you can start eating 4-7 fruit meals throughout the day whenever youre hungry and a fat based fruit meal for dinner.
And after every 5 days you eat 1 less meal but increase the quantity of the others so your stomach gets used to the large quantities of fruit you will eat when your only eating fruit for breakfast and lunch at the end of your transition.
I hope you enjoyed the read and as always regarding health matter, please listen to your body and your physicians advice since im not a professional and this merely my opinion on how to best transition to a healthier lyfestyle.
If you have any questions feel free to post them as i will reply to any concern you might have :)
