Feel Better Eat Better And Live A Full Life

in #health7 years ago

I first heard about T. Colin Campbell when I watched the American documentary 'Forks Over Knives' in 2013 during my transition from carnivorism to veganism. To me Campbell is one of the fathers of the biggest study on the effect of nutrition on long-term health, called "The China Study". As a biochemist Campbell has become known for his advocacy of a low-fat, whole foods, plant-based diet.

Campbell was one of the lead scientists of the China–Cornell–Oxford Project on diet and disease, set up in 1983 by Cornell University, the University of Oxford, and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine to explore the relationship between nutrition and cancer, heart, and metabolic diseases.

Here is an inspiring interview from Campbell

Campbell is one of my heroes because he advocates "You need to know the truth about food and why eating the right way can save your life."
