Diaries of a Fluffy Rican: Some self healing

in #health5 days ago

Sometime last week, I started to feel myself getting sick. My chest was heavy and congested. My airways were feeling sore when breathing. I've learned with time to know when I'm on the verge of getting sick.

So the first thing I did was go to the market and get some ginger. I bought a small piece for about .24 cents. I've been simply taking small bites of throughout the day for a week now.

While walking around Target. I found a few drinks that I thought would help.

The first one is a lemonade with activated charcoal. I was a little hesitant about the idea of drinking a beverage with charcoal in it. Yet I've seen different articles explaining it's ability to absorbed toxins. So I have it try. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it basically tasted like litely sweetened lemonade.

The second beverage I found was a little more intense. This immune boosting drink has Ginger and turmeric. At first glance it seems like it would just be something you take down in one sip. Yet honestly, found myself just taking small sips throughout the day. It definitely wakes up your entire body with a simple sip.

Another version of the immune booster, made by a different company comes with ginger and Cayenne pepper. I didn't read the Cayenne part until after I took a sip of it. It was intense.

The last beverage I tried throughout the week was this lemonade with aloe. The color of these beverages can be intimidating. Yet overall I'm pleased with the results.

Though I acknowledge that I am in no way a nutritionist. Over the years I've kind of learned how to take care of myself. I could tell by the initial symptoms, that I needed to act quickly. With all the fear that's being pushed on us through the media. I'll admit I had to overcome the fear that it would turn into something bad. Yet I have faith in my body's ability to heal. Provided I take the necessary steps. Overall I'm blessed, and getting much better.

Thanks for sharing with me.
God bless
