THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING 'FIT' SO TO SAY!


Fitness can be broken up into different categories, all of which focus on their own specific areas of the body, these being:

1. Cardiovascular or Aerobic Exercise
2. Flexibility or Joint Flexibility
3. Anaerobic Exercise
4. Muscular Endurance and Muscular Strength

Cardiovascular / Aerobic Exercise

Cardiovascular / Aerobic Exercise also well known as cardio, refers to an exercise that raises your heart rate, by raising your heart rate, to a safe point, exercises your heart, therefore allowing your heart to become stronger, by allowing your heart to get stronger, you give your heart more of an opportunity to deliver oxygen from your capillaries to your muscles.

BENEFITS:

  • Weight loss
  • Stronger Heart
  • Lower blood pressure and Cholesterol
  • Increased Bone Density
  • Reduces Stress and Depression
  • Better Sleep
  • Ability to Keep Muscle Strength to an Old Age

HOW TO DO CARDIO:
Its as easy as Walking or Running, As long as you can raise your heart rate to a safe point.


Flexibility or Joint Flexibility

Flexibility refers to the Range of Motion you have in your joints, say doing the splits for instance. Flexibility is different from person to person, lets say that you can do the splits, whereas I can't even get close to doing the splits XD.

  • Enhanced Performance
  • Less Risk of Injury
  • Increased blood supply and Nutrients to joints
  • Increased quantity of joint fluid
  • Increased Neuromuscular coordination
  • Reduced Muscular Tightness
  • Increased joint Mobility

HOW TO GAIN FLEXIBILITY:
Gaining Flexibility is as Easy as Stretching every morning and evening before going to bed, by stretching you are stretching your Muscles and teaching them to gain a better Range of Motion while Moving.


Anaerobic Exercise

Anaerobic Exercise uses the sugars in your blood Instead of the oxygen like Aerobic Exercise, this form of Exercise cannot be sustained for a long time. Anaerobic Exercise is like Weight Training and Sprinting, you will eventually Burn out while doing a full sprint for a long period.

BENEFITS:

  • Muscle Development
  • Increased Muscle Mass
  • Increased Bone Density
  • Lower Blood Sugar

HOW TO DO ANAEROBIC EXERCISE:
Like I said, Weight Training, Sprinting, Pull ups and even Push ups!!


Muscular Endurance and Muscular Strength

Muscular Endurance and Muscular Strength are Quite Obvious, Muscle Strength refers to the strength of you Muscles, as I said Its quite Obvious, and Muscle Endurance refers to the duration you put your muscles to work for. When you do Weight Training, to Gain Muscle Strength you do High weights with low reps, and to Gain Muscle Endurance you need to do low Weights with High Reps. Reps Being how many times you do the specific movement.

BENEFITS OF MUSCLE ENDURANCE:

  • Increased Weight Control
  • Increased Energy
  • Improved Mood
  • Improved Muscle Tone
  • Decreased Disease Risks

BENEFITS OF MUSCLE STRENGTH:

  • Weight Loss
  • Protected Bone Health and Muscle Mass
  • Strength
  • Better Body Mechanics
  • Disease protection
  • Boosts Energy and Mood

One more thing, remember:
NEVER GIVE UP!!!!
