Plus green beans are a very good source of vitamins and minerals also just one cup has like 10% of folate for the day and plus folate is really an vitamin B which does.help to prevent birth defects also,and green beans have vitamin C which we know helps to boost your immune system and just one cup will give you like 25% of whar you need for the day too,and green beans have vitamin A which we know.is important for your eyes health plus it helps to boost your immune systsm and also your reproduction too,plus green beans have a lot of minerals also like manganese,calcium and iron and magnesium, phosphorous and also potassium and zinc too so as you can see there are many minerals in green beans,plus greens have catechin which is in green tea also and this can help to improve your heart health also may help to prevent cancer too but again more studies are needed here also.
