It’s been a hard half a year. About 6 months ago I went to house sit for my mother so that she could go see my grandmother.
2 weeks after that, my grandmother passed, which resulted in my spending most of 3 months at my moms house sitting.
I live on SSI and can’t afford to maintain two households, but my mother is bipolar, and doesn’t understand that other people’s problems matter too. Which I understand. She doesn’t think logically.
The last few months of trying to play catch up have damn near killed me stress and health wise, and this month, while I have all of my other bills held off until next month, my rent is still unpaid.
