With strain names like that, it sounds like they’re just using “the clear”(basically 90-100% THCA isolate and nothing else,) mixed with food grade terpenes.
And yeah. California testing numbers can be utterly disregarded. They aren’t even required.
They are a requirement here in Oregon, but they left enough room for fuckery in our laws that the numbers on flower are almost never accurate, but it’s hard to fake the numbers on concentrates and edibles without breaking major laws.
Bottom line, when the clear first came out, it was probably the most potent product on the market. But now we have fractionalized distillation. Which allows for the same level of refinery, but also allows the original terpenes from the extract to be reintroduced at the end. This results in a more “well rounded” buzz.
I’ve dabbed 100% isolate crystal before(normally I dip other dabs in it to make them more potent, or I’ll sometimes put some on some flower in a vaporizer session.) It’s a very “one sided” buzz ime. Mostly felt in the head. Little to no body high. And this was stuff made using the full spectrum method. It just didn’t have the terps reintroduced at the end so it remains crystalline.
Bottom line, get full spectrum oil if you can. I believe Select Strains is available in California now. They started in Oregon and produce great(albeit slightly pricey) products.
