Spirulina is a blue-green algae (cyanobacteria). It contains protein and essential amino acid. It is rich in vitamins, carotenoids, minerals and antioxidants. It also contains B-complex, beta-carotene, vitamin E, manganese, zinc, copper, iron, selenium and fatty acids.
