Chamomile and passiflora tincture for insomnia

If you have trouble sleeping at night try this natural remedy against insomnia that will help you sleep well.

There are relaxing medicinal plants such as passionflower, valerian or chamomile that can combat the difficulty to sleep. All the natural ingredients of this tincture contribute in their way to regulate sleep. Mixed, they complement each other and work together. The Valerian is a sedative, while sour cherries regulate patterns of sleep, improve its quality and help you fall asleep.

Ingredients for the tincture against insomnia

20 g of passionflower
20 g of chamomile
20 g of valerian root
30 g of fresh or dried cherries
400 ml of good quality vodka

Preparation of the tincture against insomnia

Make sure all the dry ingredients are crumbled but pulverized.
Place all the ingredients except the vodka in a large glass jar with a secure lid. Pour the vodka in there, close the lid and shake it a few times.
Label the jar with all the ingredients and the date. Keep it in a dark place and shake it at least once a day for the next 3 weeks.
Strain the contents of the jar with a muslin sieve and pass it to a measuring jug. Then put the tincture in a sterilized bottle of amber glass of adequate volume (300-400 ml). Close the bottle
Label all the ingredients and the initial date of preparation of the tincture. Start by taking a few drops a day and increase the dose until you reach a teaspoon 2-3 times daily. Use for 6 months in periods of stress and insomnia.
