RE: The Old Dog Explores: Help For Allergy Sufferers. Symptoms Eliminated....Naturally!

in #health7 years ago

Huh! I haven't heard of that one before. What helps me the best is bee pollen from local bees (it has to be local, so that it has traces of the local allergens in it). But my allergies are so severe, I take the tiniest dose: if you get a jar of bee pollen, the instructions are telling you to take a spoonful. I take one kernel. Maybe two, on a really bad day. And that will kill my environmental allergies better than any medicine! More than that can set me off, rather than help. I've also used - and a few times reacted - to local wildflower honey as well, so I think it depends on what they specifically were pollenating in what quantities in that batch. Basically, it acts like a vaccine - a wee tiny exposure, mitigated by bee barf. 😉

Interesting. I have heard of that before and it would have been worth a try if this didn't help so much. Glad it works for you and thanks for sharing.
