Next event is set and it's getting tougher!

So the second event out of the three planned is rapidly approaching! At the end of September (either the 28th or 29th) myself and a team of colleagues will tackle the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge! 24 miles of grueling terrain to climb and hike across, climbing the top of the 3 major peaks in the Yorkshire Dales.

The route is circular, so doesn't require a particular start or finish point, however, we shall be using the following itinery:

8am
Leave Horton-in-Ribblesdale.
9.30am
Summit of Pen-y-ghent (691m).
1pm
Summit Whernside (728m).
5pm
Summit Ingleborough (723m).
8pm
Arrive back at Horton-in-Ribblesdale.

To become part of the official 3 peaks exclusive club we must complete the 3 peaks hike in under 12 hours! That is approximately 24 miles with an altitude climb of 1672m!

This will make the wheel barrow race look like a wander around the park! As before if anybody can find it in their heart to donate to our cause, I would personally be forever grateful!

We are raising money for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit that looked after my son during this short stay on Earth. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him, and the last 6 months has been a real struggle to get back to normal life. I must thank all my friends and family who have supported and of course the random strangers who have taken time and money out to help me get back on the straight and narrow.

It's been the worst year of my life but now it's time to turn it around as we approach the end of 2018.

The link to the just giving page can be found here, any amount is much appreciated. The total currently is sat at £295 British pound sterling, and we managed to raise £390 in cash donations from the wheel barrow race, totaling a brilliant £685 after just one event! This gives me confidence that my £1000 target will be reached and maybe even raised!

I will keep you all updated through steemit and the just giving page, for anyone that wishes to follow our progress! Every penny raised will solely go to the Kingsmill Hospital NICU in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, UK. The hospitals in the UK are currently under lots of stress from government cuts and the conspiracy to make the NHS private! This is an outrage and offence against the doctors, nurses, and all the NHS staff who work tirelessly to help those in need of medical attention.

Peace and good health to you all!

Much love, Praada x
